Trader Joe's peanut-butter-filled pretzels
Delicious. The peanut butter is sweet; the pretzels are crunchy and salty. This is about the easiest snack or travel meal you're gonna find. My only gripe is I wish there was more pretzel and less peanut butter. They're great anyway!

Whole Foods raisin bran cereal
Huge sugar-coated raisins in here. On what planet do raisins need sugar? And the flakes are thin, bland, and crumbly. I found at least 2 cups of bran sawdust at the bottom of the bag. If you're in the mood for a raisin bran, there are many better brands to choose from.

Wild Oats spicy blue corn tortilla chips
Solidly crispy. The flavor is the perfect level of spiciness, good for eating plain and accompanied well by chai tea.

Wild Oats sesame blue corn tortilla chips
These taste as expected. Not too salty, and you can taste the sesame. For some reason, sesame and blue corn go perfectly with fresh guacamole.

General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
Name brands are pricey, but this stuff is worth an occasional splurge. It tastes like candy and should probably be treated as such, due to its high sugar content and rather addictive flavor. I'll down half a box in a day if I'm not careful. It may be a good idea to cut this with a plain krispy rice cereal, to save your wallet and your waistband.

Tofurky Philly-style steak deli slices
These taste like a cross between hickory smoked Tofurky and roast beef. Thinly-sliced, nice on a sandwich or for eating plain. They are great served on a roll with French onion soup for French dips!

Trader Joe's vegetable Masala veggie burgers
Not meaty or burgery at all, more like a potato patty. Unique flavor, subtly Indian. Probably best eaten with a fork rather than on a sandwich.

Wild Oats organic truffles au cafe
Maybe I just don't like truffles. They're way too rich and make a huge mess in your hand. The coffee flavor is extremely strong at first, though you get used to it after the first few bites. Truffles are salvageable if you eat them on top of grahams or in tiny bites to compensate for the strong flavor and high fat content. Keep them in the fridge to keep them from being melty.

Sharon's Sorbet, raspberry
Fat-free, low-calorie, and loaded with wonderful tart raspberry flavor. A perfect dessert, snack, or smoothie-starter, and goes great alongside chocolate cake or cinnamon grahams.

Tofurky hickory smoked deli slices
Hickory Smoked Tofurky slices are the best veggie turkey slices I've ever had. Lovely flavor, and they're sliced super-thin, much unlike other brands. Roll some up on toasted bread with sliced avocado and you're on your way to heaven. I also like these for French dips.
