Nature's Path organic hemp plus brownie mix

4

These brownies had a lovely texture and were super easy and quick to make, but they were not quite sweet enough. They would be good with frosting. Plus, they’re actually whole wheat! Yay!

Ralph's crispy rice cereal

3

Nothing surprising here. They are pretty lame alone but are fine to mix with fancier cereals or to use to make krispy bars.

Trader Joe's organic lentil vegetable soup (canned)

5

A great soup, hearty and flavorful. It even has large pieces of green beans in it. This soup is so substantial it begs to be poured over rice or a baked potato. The result is a cheap, filling, easy, healthful lunch. I keep several cans of this on hand in my office. All I need to do is bring a little Tupperware full of rice to complete this awesome meal at my desk.

Uncle Eddie's chocolate chip cookies

4

They have the perfect amount of saltiness - a tough find. These cookies get a 4 because Uncle Eddie wants to make you fat. All the Uncle Eddie's flavors are delicious but noticeably greasy. Their fat content is off the charts, with an undesirably high level of saturated fat too. These things will soak through a stack of napkins and add inches to your waistline in no time. That’s probably why they taste sooooo good.

Fruit-juice popsicles sporting hunks of actual mango. If you love mangoes, these make an awesome dessert or snack.

So Delicious creamy raspberry bars

5

Damn, these are good! And only 80 calories each! The raspberry flavor is perfect, and nicely swirled with the vanilla, which is also just lovely. Great texture too. I’d say these may be the best lo-cal frozen treats I’ve had.

Follow Your Heart Vegan Gourmet mozzarella cheese block

4

This vegan cheese melts. It tastes a little weird but is delicious. Follow Your Heart mozzarella makes excellent nachos (microwave), great mac & cheese (oven or stove top), and okay pizza. It’s tasty sliced on a roll or bagel or when shredded on salads or potatoes. This is one of the best brands of vegan cheese on the market today. The mozzarella flavor is not as good as the cheddar flavor, but it still earns a high rating.
